I am Lester Sooklal, the founder of Slow Gospel Music Ministries. However, I began my career in secular music in 1986. In 1989, I accepted Jesus Christ into my life. It was not very long after that, the enemy tried to take my life, when I was stabbed in my head as well as in one of my shoulders. Miraculously God saved me and because of a purpose driven life, slow Gospel music was born on June 6th 1993. The Bible says that “many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
