Hiliare Murray
 |
News Reporter/Presenter
Hiliare started her media career in 1999 at a community radio station located in her home town, Toco.
At Radio Toco 106.7FM, she was an Announcer/DJ/News Presenter for a period of two years. Following this, she felt it was time to spread her wings and ventured into the “bright lights” to enhance her skills by enrolling in an announcer’s broadcasting course.
On completion, Hiliare was employed within weeks at a popular radio station in Port of Spain as a News Reporter/Presenter. Over the years she has also held the same position at two other local radio stations.
In 2004, Hiliare tried to change course by getting out of the news business and jumped into the world of technical operations. She got involved in the writing, editing and producing of government programmes; both radio and television.
However, that was short-lived as in 2005 she joined Isaac 98.1FM where she is now a News Reporter/Presenter. Hiliare is currently pursuing a degree in Journalism/Public Relations.
When this fun-loving “country gal” is not working, she enjoys cooking and singing.

Karlon Gabriel Lett
 |
Karlon Gabriel Lett never thought that he would be living out one of his passions. Karlon, the last of three boys is a former student of Diego Martin Government Secondary.
His journey towards living out his passion began with his training with Media Pioneer, Dave Elcock (one person that he names as his mentor) and continued with Madonna Sampson–Doyle of MASComm Limited. In between his training and before the introduction of the first gospel FM station in Trinidad and Tobago, he provided his voice for seminar tapes, small commercials, etc, still knocking on the doors of radio stations, but to no avail.
However, a chance encounter with the birth of Isaac 98.1FM and the encouragement of his grandmother (his number 1 fan), he decided to give it another chance; and destiny took its course.
Today, Karlon is one of the familiar voices on the station, being the morning news presenter, announcer (fill-in).
However, he is humbled by the fact that although he is living out his dreams, Karlon is also giving back to the listenership of the station.
